Must Watch Oprah

In graduate school, I studied the less-developed countries in Africa, particularly the intersection of health, education and poverty. Though I don't write about them on this blog very often, these issues are what I am most passionate about.

If you'd like to learn more about maternal and infant mortality, I strongly recommend you watch Oprah today. They are talking about a lot of these issues in a very understandable, non-academic way.

I know that if you learn more about these issues, you'll be as passionate about them as I am.

I know word verification is a pain, but I'm getting a lot of spam comments, more than I can keep up with. I hope you'll leave a comment anyway. I really appreciate you reading and love hearing back from you.
