The Olympics

Chuk and I have been watching the Olympics every night. We have a little American flag on our coffee table. We cheer "USA USA" just before an American competes and then high-five when he or she has finished, regardless of outcome.

Yesterday was a good day to be an American. I'm inspired as I watch these athletes who have devoted their whole lives to fulfilling their dreams achieve them and so proud to know that they represent my country. It feels like it's my victory too.

  1. Hi Meghan! Thanks for visiting me and commenting. I love the picture you chose for your header...it's lovely!

As to your comment/question about TVP, I've actually purchased it in other places besides Whole Foods. My Kroger carried at one time...but any grocery store may be able to do a special order for you. The first time I bought it at Whole Foods, I had to ask for it...I was looking on the baking aisle and they had it on the top shelf on the soup aisle...so it always pays to ask. Good luck and please let me know if you try it and what you think...

  2. I am also an Olympic nut. My Hubby and I have been watching at night and cheering loudly for Team USA and we were cheering for the married Chinese pair skaters on Modnay
