Shock and Sadness

Friends, Chuk's mom died yesterday morning. We're in North Carolina with his dad trying to support him and understand the incomprehensible. I have so many thoughts that I want to record and share here, but I don't know when I'll have time. Hopefully it'll be soon. I know you understand.

    Oh Meghan, I am so so so sorry. Please offer my condolances to you and to Chuk and the whole family. I know oh so much what you're going through - I lost my father very suddenly less than two months ago. Know that each day will be hard going forward but you will be the best thing for Chuk and his family right now. Be there for him, allow him to cry and hand him a hankie.

    Oh! Hankies are so much better than tissues. We bought a pack at Men's Wearhouse and passed them out to the family.

    I will be praying for you and the family. I'm so sorry.
