Don't You Hate It When...

Don't you hate it when you're trying to make a birthday cheesecake at one o'clock in the morning for your father-in-law and you discover that your springform pan is broken? Or is it just me that this stuff happens to?

I'm making it work, but if you can recommend a good quality pan that doesn't cost a million dollars, I'm open to suggestions. This is the second pan that's broken on me in the last year.

  1. Ugh, that sucks!!! I hope you found out it was broken BEFORE you put the batter in. I have only used a springform once, and it is ancient. It was my mother in law's, so it's probably over 40 yrs old...

  2. I'm just impressed that you owned a springform pan. I don't think I would know what to do with one!

  3. Ugh! I do hate that! I know just what you mean! The other day, I was making a chiffon cake, and realized that I didn't even own a tube pan with a removable bottom. Like, I just assumed I did, because I own every little piece of bake ware imaginable.

I know word verification is a pain, but I'm getting a lot of spam comments, more than I can keep up with. I hope you'll leave a comment anyway. I really appreciate you reading and love hearing back from you.
