I manned the waffle iron while Chuk made the bacon.
To make butter pecan waffles, I follow the directions on the box of Bisquick, substituting 3 Tbs. butter for the 2 Tbs oil and adding a splash of vanilla. Pour batter on waffle iron, then sprinkle a handful of chopped pecans over it. Cook as normal. It's yummy enough for company, but easy enough for any ol' weekend.

I know word verification is a pain, but I'm getting a lot of spam comments, more than I can keep up with. I hope you'll leave a comment anyway. I really appreciate you reading and love hearing back from you.
